Graduated from Huazhong Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in 1982;

Graduated from Huazhong University of Technology with a Master's degree in 1987;

Graduated from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT), School of Information Studies, with a PhD in 2008;

Visiting Scholar at University of Wisconsin (UWMV), USA in 2007

2019- Visiting Scholar to University of Wisconsin (UWMV) for Doctoral Mentor Exchange Programme, USA

2017- Executive Director of Hubei Artificial Intelligence Society
